McLaughlin Research provides NAVSEA Keyport with an in-depth understanding of Naval Undersea Warfare research, development, test and evaluation, and operational support requirements gained through on-site experience in Keyport dating back to the 1980s, coupled with over 35 years of complementary USW system experience under more than 75 major prime contracts in Newport, RI, and New London, CT.

Operations Services Department, Infrastructure Services Division (Code 17)
MRC provides Keyport-wide Safety, Security & Environmental Infrastructure Support Services as a prime contractor under MRC SP-e task order FY03 (and previously under FY01), including the following:
- OSH Program Management, Prevention & Oversight, Audit & Inspection, & Mishap Reporting and Analysis Support
- Weapons Facilities Protection & Duty Office Operations Support, e.g., 24x7x365-operation of the Central Monitoring Dispatch Center (CMDC)
- Security Office Program Management Support
- Environmental & Hazardous Material/Waste Management.
System Acceptance & Operation Readiness Department (Code 20)
MRC provides Military Specifications (MILSPEC) update support for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Richmond, VA; and administrative support to the NUWC Keyport Detachment in San Diego, CA, as a subcontractor under BAE Systems SP-e task order FY05 (and previously under FY02).
Maintenance Engineering & Industrial Operation Department (Code 30)
MRC provides production scheduling, tracking, expediting and monitoring support for Electro-Mechanical Depot repairs / overhauls work; and technical data package (TDP) preparation support for outgoing quotes as a subcontractor under BAE Systems SP-e task order FY01.
In-Service Engineering & Integrated Logistics Support Department (Code 40)
MRC provides support for scanning/linking of Navy/Marine Corps maintenance personnel training records at Naval & Marine Corps Air Stations throughout the U.S. for on-line training record access; IT hardware & software support to Collaborative Engineering Environment servers; and Aircraft Carrier Tactical Support Center (CV-TSC) support as a subcontractor under BAE Systems SP-e task orders FY06 (and previously under FY03) and FY04.
MRC also provides on-site engineering, technical, and logistics support services for heavyweight and lightweight torpedo programs in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center On Site Office (OSO) in Keyport under MRC contract N66604-04-D-0415, and has extensive experience documenting and analyzing the results of weapon and launcher-related test programs conducted on Northwest Range Complex facilities, including the Nanoose and Dabob Bay ranges, under that and a number of other contracts, as well as a number of SeaPort Enhanced task orders.
